Mecalux will take part in the fifth Empack & Logistics trade event to be held in Porto (Portugal) on 18 and 19 September 2019. One of Southern Europe's most significant sector events, it has brought together the world’s leading players from the warehousing, packaging and logistics industries for the last five years.
Mecalux will host an 18 m2 stand (No. F24) for the 2019 event, where it will demo all its warehouse solutions for both standard and automated warehouses. The company will also unveil the latest developments in its warehouse management software (WMS), the Easy WMS.
With this intelligent management system, Mecalux will showcase its breakthroughs in automated warehousing. This system optimises the physical and documentary management of product flows, while guaranteeing safety in a company's logistics processes. Not surprisingly, using the software appropriately reduces up to 99% of logistics process errors.
+4,000 logistics professionals
In mid-September, this storage solutions event, to be hosted at Exponor Feria Internacional do Porto, will draw together over 100 leading sector suppliers and more than 4,000 professionals, who will debate the future of logistics services and the needs of packaging technology.
Entitled 'The future of multimodal transport, logistics services & packaging technology', the fair will offer attendees many roundtable discussions on sustainability, market trends and, in particular, the challenges facing the logistics sector.
