Intersurgical, a global supplier of medical devices for respiratory support will deploy Mecalux’s Easy WMS warehouse management system in its new distribution centre at its head office site in Wokingham (United Kingdom).
This WMS will manage and optimise all warehouse operations. For this, stock must be monitored at all times: assigning a location to the goods based on their characteristics and rotation, ensuring the products have passed the relevant quality controls prior to distribution, as well as organising dispatches to customers and other Intersurgical sites in the group.
The company has worked with Mecalux to improve its current logistics processes and plan for further growth. Currently, it is building a clad-rack automated warehouse at its site in Lithuania which also will be managed by Easy WMS.
